Water Row Govan - Piled Anchor Wall
Client: Varis Engineering for Glasgow City Council
Scope of work: The works at Water Row, Govan were being provided by Varis Engineering for Glasgow City Council to facilitate the running of the new cross river ferry service from Govan to Yorkhill.
The works comprised the supply and installation at short notice of a sheet piled anchor wall to take additional tie rod loading imparted by the new ramp structure.
Quay Wall Repairs and Grouting
Client: Glasgow Science Centre
Scope of work: The works were carried out under the instruction of Consulting Engineers Arch Henderson Llp who were working for Client Glasgow Science Centre.
The works entailed the repairs to the river quay wall adjacent to Glasgow Science Centre on the River Clyde. The scope fo works included pumped concrete repairs above and below water, pressure grouting, repointing of masonry quay wall and llifting and relaying pier surfacing.
River Kelvin Slipway & Marina Piling - Museum of Transport
Client: Glasgow City Council and Luddon Construction
Scope of work: The works were carried out for fellow contractor Luddon Construciton who were working for main client Glasgow City Council.
The works comprised the supply and installation of tubular piles to the new river kelvin slipway and the adjacent marina pontoons, the works were carried out both from the shore and afloat using crawler craneage and barges.
