Montrose Port Berth 8 Repairs
Client: Montrose Port Authority
Scope of work: The works comprised structural concrete repairs and replacement to the existing deck slab and cope to the edge of Berth 8 at Montrose Port.
The works were carried out under the instruction and supervision of Arch Henderson Llp who act as Engineers for Montrose Port Authority.
Significant temporary works was required to facilitate access to the works which were carried out in a tidal environment with operational restrictions due to vessel movements.
Port Edgar Marina
Client: Edinburgh Leisure & Varis Engineering
Scope of work: The works comprised of the supply and installation of four new tubular restraint piles to provide support for new additional berths in the marina. The works were carried out afloat from the CW6565 spud barge using our 40 tonne split boom rig during June 2010.
Additional work was carried out in November 2011 to provide four rock sockets to provided additional foundation strength to tubular piles. The rock sockets were augered out and grouted underwater again working from afloat.
IMPERIAL DRY DOCK, LEITH

Scope of work: Design, supply & installation of a sheet piled cofferdam to main dock entrance to allow draw down of water and repair of original dry dock gates.
